Lesson 1 on Blogging to the Bank
What is a Blog?
Do you keep a diary? Even if not, you will at least understand the need to keep one. If you understand the concept of keeping a diary, you will understand the concept of blogging. Blogging is a way of sharing thoughts and ideas with people online
In case you’re wondering what at blog is, it’s simply a web page where entries are made in a journal type style, kind of like when somebody keeps a diary. The truth is, blogs have been around long before people started calling them blogs. It just took a while for them to get a technical name. They are great for sharing information and ideas. One of the differences between a blog and a website is that blog is less cumbersome and need no professionalism in terms of HTML code knowledge and so on.
Blogger.com says:
“A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.”
